INSTALLING BOOKS
At this point, you can also install preformatted books from Gospelink 2001’s PocketLibrary. To do so:
To install more than one book, repeat the process by clicking Add and selecting another book. Be sure your Palm device has enough space to hold all of the books you’ve selected.
After you’ve selected all the titles you want to install, click Done. The program will tell you to hotsync your Palm device, which you can do by pushing the button on the Palm device’s cradle. After the hotsync is complete, turn on your Palm device, tap the Reader icon, and make sure all the titles are listed. If they are, you’ve completed the installation successfully.
Copying Selections from Gospelink 2001 to your Palm Device
There are two different ways to copy text from Gospelink 2001 to your Palm device. The first is the same way you copy information to Composer:
The following screen will appear:
The chapter title for the document from which you are copying will appear in the Document Title box. In the File Name box, enter a name for your document. Then click OK.
Once you’ve named your Palm document and saved it, it’s ready to be put on your Palm device. To do so:
After the hotsync is complete, turn on your Palm device, open the Reader, and make sure your document is listed. Because of license restrictions, the largest amount of text you can copy to a handheld computer is 64K.
